This page explains what personal data EV Expert collects through this website, why we collect it, and what rights you have.
Who is responsible
EV Expert AS, Oslo, Norway, is responsible for the personal data described on this page. Questions about your data: contact@evexpert.no.
What we collect
When you send a form on this website, we receive what you fill in:
- Request a diagnosis and price request: name, e-mail, phone number, car make and model, registration number or VIN, what the request is about, your description of the problem, and a preferred date and time.
- Partner application: name, company name, organisation number, e-mail, phone number and your message.
We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising, and we do not use analytics tools on this website.
Why we use it
We use the data to answer your request, give you a price, book a time and do the work you ask for. The legal basis is that you ask us to do this before and under an agreement with us (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
Who handles the data
- The forms are sent to our e-mail through FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), a service based in the USA. Your message passes through their servers on the way to us, so it may be processed in the USA.
- The website runs on Cloudflare. Like all web hosts, their servers handle technical data such as your IP address to deliver the page and protect it against attacks.
We do not sell your data or give it to anyone else for marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep your message as long as we need it to answer you and follow up the job. Messages that do not lead to a job are deleted within 12 months. If you become a customer, invoices and the records of the repair are kept for 5 years, as Norwegian bookkeeping and consumer rules require.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we have about you, have it corrected or deleted, limit how we use it, object to our use of it, and get a copy of it. Write to contact@evexpert.no.
If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
